Nick Simonelli Old version of SN Data certification let you certify data on any type of record, this only allows you to work on DB records. I wish SN would extend this out to support non CMDB tables as well. Bums me out when we lose features even though this looks great
10:13 AM
Brent Rarick Is there a way to schedule certification to run Quarterly? It isn't an option in the drop down, and once the schedule is created it isn't editable.
10:13 AM
Nick Simonelli CMDB** I got autocorrected lol
10:14 AM
Dorian Kersch '@Nick Simonelli - I feel like you can do it on sys_user_group so are you sure its only cmdb tables? Maybe there is a setting that is blocking it? Its been a while since I touched it
10:14 AM
Javier Arroyo i was under impression that the new UI still allows non-cmdb tables?
10:15 AM
Nick Simonelli They could have updated it over time and I’m learning something new today @Dorian Kersch 🀣
10:15 AM
Nick Simonelli When I looked at it a couple years back SN told me it only supported tabled extended from cmdb_ci
10:15 AM
Stephen Phayre Previous iterations of Data Certification was very heavy in tasks/records when you created a relatively simple policy - it's nice to see that it is streamlined in more recent versions.
10:15 AM
Javier Arroyo this is on the doc: Data Certification manages scheduled and on-demand validations of data in CMDB and non-CMDB tables
10:16 AM
Valerie Kruse can you provide a link to that doc?
10:16 AM
Nick Simonelli Cunningham’s law strikes again. I said something incorrect and got the answer I was hoping for. Thanks all!
10:17 AM
Javier Arroyo perhaps you went through the CMDB workspace
10:17 AM
Mark Laucus When I first tested this in a non-prod environment, I accidently made about 25000 task records. Glad it works better.
